The third annual Sussex
County Birding and Nature Festival, to be
held in Vernon, NJ, on June 7 and 8, 2008,
will include guided walks and lectures on:
- birding
- butterflies
- dragonflies
- other natural history topics

The weekend, co-sponsored by the County of
Sussex and NJAS, will also include a lunch
and keynote presentation on the "Dragonflies
of New Jersey" by Allan Barlow on
Saturday. All events will be held at or depart from The
Appalachian Hotel at Mountain Creek on
State Highway 94, Vernon, NJ. The
