New Jersey Audubon Society World Series of Birding LEVEL III - YOUTH DIVISION COMPETITION

On May 13, 2006 the following youth teams spent their day identifying the many birds that can be seen in New Jersey. 

• Some teams covered the whole state of NJ;
  others limited their search to their county or schoolyard. 

• Some teams focused their birdwatching efforts on the trails identified in the Delaware Bayshore Birding and Wildlife Trails Guide.

• Some teams have members who are very serious birdwatchers,
  while other teams have members who have just recently picked up binoculars
  for the first time. 

• Some teams are looking to test their skills against others in their category,
  while other teams are looking to broaden their horizons and understanding of bird migration and conservation.
