Over the past thirty-seven years Pete Dunne’s passion for birding has garnered him an international reputation as a leading authority on bird identification and bird life, and has advanced Cape May’s fame as North America’s premier bird watching location.  New Jersey Audubon is proud to celebrate Pete’s many contributions as he transitions from Chief Communication Officer and Director of the Cape May Bird Observatory into his new role as New Jersey Audubon Birding Ambassador At-Large.

Proceeds from this event will fund the Pete Dunne Legacy Fund, established to enhance Cape May Bird Observatory programs and New Jersey Audubon’s bird-related projects.

There will be a special opportunity during the event to support the
New Jersey Audubon Youth Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund will be used to provide the tools for the next generation of “Pete Dunnes ” to develop their passion and skills for birding.
