BIRDING AND NATURAL
HISTORY FIELD TRIPS
IN ESSEX COUNTY
Led by Dave Hall and/or other NJAS naturalists.
This series of walks will bear witness to the transition from
ice-bound winter to "leaf-out" in May, as we explore some of the
jewels of the Essex County Park System (the first county park
system in the United States). We'll see migrant birds passing
through on their return trip to nesting grounds north of New
Jersey, and we'll also see birds returning to nest here in Essex
County. Spring is an exciting time of year! Call 908.766.5787 to
register.
