Enjoy Birding by Boattm aboard The Osprey with naturalist led trips throughout the festival exploring beautiful Cape Island Creek Preserve, NJ’s southernmost salt marsh and critical migration stopover. 

Explore the coastal salt marsh of Cape May from Cape Island Creek to the Wildwoods 
and view the natural wonders of historic Cape May Harbor.  

The Osprey is a stable, roomy pontoon boat with a fully approved railed front deck, an open or sliding glass panoramic window enclosed cabin with bench seating.  Excellent views of many species unique to the salt marsh, including Osprey, herons, egrets, oystercatchers, shorebirds, and possibly rails. 

Trips remain on placid inland waters.

Kayak Cape Island Creek with experienced naturalists for
great wildlife viewing from a new perspective.  Enjoy up close
looks at Osprey, egrets and other marine life.  Kayaks provided
for a fun, safe adventure.  Single kayaks only; kayaks are stable
and easy to paddle.  No experience or equipment needed; we offer instruction to get you started.  Bring waterproof camera/binoculars.

Wear clothing and shoes you don't mind getting wet.

Join our naturalists on a ♦
 Mini-Pelagic Cruise from Cape May, NJ
to Lewes, DE aboard the Cape May Lewes Ferry.  We’ll search for
gannets, a variety of gulls and terns, lingering scoters and loons,
and the possibility of jaegers, petrels or shearwaters on this ½ day
round trip excursion across the Delaware Bay. 

This is a round trip, foot passenger only cruise (no cars) and all  
passengers must have photo identification to board the ferry.
