We suggest registering early to ensure a place.
Simply call the Cape May Bird Observatory at (609) 861-0700 x 11 with the name(s) and dates of the workshop you are interested in. We will accept payment by credit card over the phone.
Download the School of Birding Registration Form (Adobe pdf file), print, complete, and mail in or send us a note with your name, address, phone (including a cell number if available), e-mail address, and the name(s) and dates of the workshop you are interested in.
Workshop registration may be accompanied by full payment, or you can hold your space with a $25 non-refundable deposit, with the full balance due two weeks prior to the workshop. We accept credit cards, checks, or money orders.
If you are not yet a CMBO or NJ Audubon member, you can join at the time of School of Birding registration and receive the member discount.
Detailed instructions and recommended reading are sent to registrants in advance of the workshop, normally by e-mail. All meeting locations for Cape May workshops are on our Cape May Birding and Butterfly map, available for download and printing from our web site, or in printed form by request.
Cape May School of Birding Workshops require a minimum number of registrants to run, but are virtually never cancelled. If we do cancel, all participants will be notified in advance and are eligible for a full credit or refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 30 days in advance. Cancellations 10 to 30 days in advance may be subject to a 25% service charge. Sorry, no refund or credit for cancellations less than ten days in advance unless due to health emergencies.
News of cancellations will also be posted on News from the Cape.
