WHAT?    KIDS CAN EXPO (sponsored by the Nature Center of Cape May)
WHEN?    Sunday, February 26th - 11:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m.
WHERE?  Cape May City Elementary School - 921 Lafayette Street in Cape May

KIDS CAN EXPO is a children’s festival that features hands-on activities, exhibits, touch-tanks, crafts, face painting, dance troupes and so much more.  There is a $6 charge per person; children under 2 are admitted free. There is also a nominal charge for food and some crafts.

CLEAN CAPE MAY PROJECT UPDATE
The NOAA-sponsored Clean Cape May project is now complete, but its never too late to help stem the problem of marine debris in our waters. The Nature Center of Cape May continues on its mission to help bring awareness to this important issue. Beach Sweeps occur on the Harbor each Spring and Autumn. Contact Center Director Gretchen Whitman at 609-898-8848 if you would like to help out.

Upcycling
Workshops

4 Tuesday Evenings,
beginning March 6th
6:30 p.m.

“Up-Cycling” is the process of converting waste or surplus materials into something new and different. A project & supply list will be provided at the first workshop.
Cost for the series: $15-Members, $20-non-members.

Winter Wonders on Cape May Harbor

Saturdays in Jan. & Feb.
10:30 a.m. to Noon

The Center’s 2nd story deck provides an ideal vantage point to see a variety of diving ducks and other winter visitors on the harbor.  Bring your binoculars if you have them (or borrow a pair of ours).  Cost: Free!
