Public Programs
The Nature Center of Cape May offers a diverse array of educational natural history programs for the public that vary with the seasons. Regularly scheduled adult, family and children's programs are conducted year round. These programs visit many of the habitats in the vicinity of the nature center. Popular with summer visitors to Cape May, the center is the perfect place to begin exploration of the natural wonders of the Southern Cape at any time of the year. We also offer Natural History Programs for groups.

Summer Intern Program for Teens
The Junior Intern Program provides opportunities for junior and high school students to work as assistants during the eight-week Summer Kid's Program at the Nature Center.  Junior Interns receive training, program and teaching materials as well as guidance from the teacher-naturalists who mentor them.  Daily assignments are flexible and take place each day between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  A mandatory training session is held every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  The program also includes a community service project.  This special project feature of the program provides opportunities for participants to share what they have learned and make a lasting contribution to NCCM.

Interested students, please see the information below (sample of 2011 forms) and check the website in April/May for the 2012 program forms.
