New Jersey Audubon offers a series of overnight adventure camps in Barnegat Bay and on the Kittatiny Ridge. These immersive outdoor experiences will foster your child's sense of wonder while building friendships and memories to last a lifetime! Through outdoor adventures and exploration, our highly trained educators will guide your child as they explore these distinctive landscapes.
Campers will stay at the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Mohican Outdoor Center near Blairstown and spend their days exploring the ridges, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Some of the activities your child will experience include hiking, birding, and canoing/kayaking.
On the 1.5 acre Sedge Island, your child will explore the marshes, dunes, and channels of the Barnegat Bay estuary. Activities will include kayaking, crabbing, clamming, fishing, and birding.
