NJAS is a member of the national grassroots movement through the Children & Nature Network (C&NN) which created to encourage and support the people and organizations working to reconnect children with nature.

NJAS is a partner in National Environmental Education Week which is the single largest organized environmental education event in the United States. Made possible by Canon USA, it increases the educational impact of Earth Day by creating a full week of environmentally-themed lessons and activities in K-12 classrooms, nature centers, zoos, museums, and aquariums.

NJAS belongs to the No Child Left Inside Coalition which was formed to alert Congress and the public to the need for our public schools to devote more resources and attention to environmental education.
