Eco-Schools USA is a free, internationally acclaimed "green" recognition program providing teachers with a framework to integrate sustainability practices within existing curriculum through 10 pathways. Aligned with NGSS, the pathways deepen the curriculum, provide STEAM-based educational opportunities, and engage students in authentic learning experiences positively impacting their environment. Watch VIDEO or Sign-up!

Top Eco-Schools Award Level: NJ Green Flag Schools

Schools can pursue the highest level award, the Green Flag, after earning both the Bronze and Silver Award Levels. Schools must complete 3 pathways including Energy, upload evidence of student work, complete a Green Flag Documentation Form (Word Doc), and submit the Green Flag Award Form in the Dashboard. The Green Flag Award must be renewed after 3 years.
