A Collaborative Community Project

with funding from






New Jersey Audubon teams with the Delaware Riverkeeper Network and Cooper River Watershed Association to develop and conduct limited programming and stewardship on Petty's Island.  Funding from the New Jersey Natural Lands Trust and the William Penn Foundation sets the foundation for more community outreach and engagement. CITGO, as the current owner of the island supports and encourages education and stewardship efforts. Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority supplies on-the-ground support for shoreline cleanups. Due to active site operations, access to Petty’s Island is restricted.  No unauthorized people may enter the island, by land or water, at any time.  All guests attending a scheduled program on the island must be pre-registered – No Exceptions.  Please see the “Calendar of Events” for program and registration information.
