A VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW and 4 CAVE SWALLOWS were observed by two experienced observers today, Nov. 7 at Bunker Pond in Cape May Point State Park, Cape May. This is the same spot where a Cave Swallow was seen several years ago. The same day, Nov. 7, a BEWICK'S WREN was found, also in Cape May, at the new parking lot for Hidden Valley Ranch, on New England Rd., near Higbee Beach. Also in Cape May, MARBLED GODWIT at Champage Island, Stone Harbor Point, Nov. 2; and WESTERN KINGBIRD Nov. 2 at the same parking lot where the Bewick's Wren was today.

A WHITE-WINGED DOVE was seen for 3 hours in Avalon on 24th St., Nov. 4, not seen since. The very rare blue form of ROSS'S GOOSE was reported at Brigantine National Wildlife Refuge during this week but was not found on Nov. 7. Also at Brigantine Nov. 3 - 7, EURASIAN WIGEON, LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, BALD EAGLE, WESTERN SANDPIPERS and WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPERS.

A big hawk flight on Raccoon Ridge Nov. 6 produced over 500 Redtails, and Golden Eagles and Goshawks as well. A RED-NECKED GREBE was at Spruce Run Nov. 3; the Hudsonian Godwits that were there Oct. 31 are apparently gone. There were 2 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS on Bearfort Mt. on Oct. 31.
