THE MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER was still in the tangle at the Beanery in Cape May Dec 8 in the morning, chipping vigorously and feeding actively in the tangle to the right of the opening. Flyover RED CROSSBILLS were also there Dec 8.

Two WHITE-FRONTED GEESE are still being seen Somerset County: the Colonial Park bird in Somerset was still present this week; and another WHITE-FRONT was on the pond at the North Princeton Developmental Center in Skillman, on the Great Road (Rte 601), in the pond with Snow and Canada Geese.

RED CROSSBILL and WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL continue on Clinton Road between P4 and the yellow 3.0 sign. One observer reported as many as 200 white-wings on Dec 7, some of them overhead. Reds were also seen, in smaller numbers. EVENING GROSBEAKS were nearby on Rte 515 Dec 10. REDPOLL, RED CROSSBILL and PINE GROSBEAK were all flyovers in Tewksbury, Hunterdon County this week, Dec 7-9. RED CROSSBILLS were also in the pines near the Wilderness Camping Parking Lot at Round Valley Reservoir Dec 7.

On the North Shore, a REDHEAD was on Twilight Lake, Bayhead; EURASIAN WIGEON continues on Stockton Lake in Manasquan; 100 CANVASBACKS were on Takanassee, all Dec 4. At Barnegat, COMMON EIDER, KING EIDER and HARLEQUIN were present last week and presumed still present. ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was at Mullica River off the Garden State Parkway Dec 8.

A ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was on private property in Bergen County this week; another was at North Pond, Sandy Hook last week.
