This is the Voice of NJ Audubon for Wed., Dec. 11 with reports of BELL'S VIREO, N. FULMAR, PUFFIN and other alcids, GREATER WHITE- FRONTED GOOSE, HARLEQUIN, LITTLE GULL, ARCTIC TERN, and local reports.

The BELL'S VIREO in Cape May was re-found on Dec. 8 (Sun.) at the south end of the first field in Hidden Valley. Call the CMBO hotline for updates.

A pelagic off Brielle 40 miles on Dec. 7 had 105 NORTHERN FULMAR, 2 ATLANTIC PUFFIN, 6 DOVEKIE and 6 RAZORBILL, and a LINCOLN'S SPARROW on board!

Two GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were reported this week: the first, a belated report of one at Island Road, Columbus; the second, on Dec. 8 at Lake Manalapan in Thompson Park in Jamesburg (Middlesex County).

A possible ARCTIC TERN was reported at Barnegat Inlet by various observers from Nov. 30 to Dec. 7. Also at Barnegat Inlet, HARLEQUINS and COM. EIDER have been on both sides of the inlet. A LITTLE GULL was reported in Manasquan Inlet on Dec. 4.

LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS were recently reported on the Columbus Sod Farms (2) and also on Westfield Rd. in Moorestown, all Burlington Co.
