This is the Voice of NJ Audubon for Wed July 5 with reports of BROWN PELICAN, and local reports of interest.

Up to 200 BROWN PELICANS were at Barnegat Light this week on the island near buoy #29 at the back inlet.

The BOBOLINKS and GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS continue at Hoffman Park in Pattenberg. BOBOLINKS also are on Lamington Road, Rte. 523.

Seven BRANT were at Island Beach July 1.

Birds at the Hackensack Meadowlands Kingsland Impoundment this week included FORSTER'S TERN and BLACK SKIMMER.

CLIFF SWALLOWS are feeding young at the outlet tower at Merrill Creek Reservoir.
